Summer Fun

This past July was spent with wonderful young artists creating everything from String Painting, Leather Cuffs and Metal embossed journals and a whole lot more...  Our sponsors were fantastic.  Here are just a few pic's..

Had such fun yesterday learning to wire wrap stones. It was hard and I have a new found appreciation of this skill.  My fingers just had a hard time twisting the wire..

Banner Birthday Card

Had so much fun making this card for our stamping class at church tomorrow.  It has been a while since I pulled out the banner punch and Sassy Salutations stamp set!

Happy Easter Bunny Card

Having fun in the snow and dreaming of spring!  This cute little guy is now one of my favs.  He is so full of personality.  Embossed the Daffodil Delight cardstock with the square lattice embossing folder.  Used the oval framelits to cut out the stamped image and the white frame.  I used dazzling diamonds on his belly, tail and the frame.  Colored the stamped image with the lightest colors of markers.  I stamped The bunny again and cut him out.  He was colored in pink pirouette. I mounted him with dimensionals.  Have fun!!

Chalkboard Card

It is a play day at my house today.  We have 5" of snow on the ground and more headed our way.  Needless to say, we are stuck on top of the mountain.  What's a girl to do... STAMP!!

Made this card using some retired designer series paper, the banner punch and the Because you Care stamp set.  I embossed the Happy Birthday in white on the new chalkboard paper.  Love it!!  Off to play some more.

Such exciting classes at Artworks in February.  Linda Bell will be doing her beautiful "Hooked Wool Flowers".  Ruth Gudger will be showing us how to make wired wrapped pendants. Card Class

Are you tired of paying a fortune for cards at the store.  Come join me at ArtWorks for great fun and creativity. We will be using rubber stamping in combination with a variety of other techniques to create handmade cards which you can keep or send to friends and family.  All skill levels are welcome.
