The Open Sea Card

I love the stamp set, The Open Seas and I am so glad it is not retiring.  My father was in the Navy and my son-in-law Ian sails so this is just the perfect stamp for my family.

I saw a card similar to this one on pinterest by Omilee designs.  I canged it up some and used both the Woodgrain stamp and the Hardwoods stamp for the background.  I think I like the woodgrain better.  They were both inked in crumb cake and sponged on the edges.  I used the circle framelits to cut the porthole.  Finished it off with cherry cobbler baker's twine and mini brads.  I did not do a greeting.  The ship was sponged with soft sky and marina mist.
